For more than sixty years, the Lane family has been dedicated to agriculture in Gates County, North Carolina. What began as a family farming operation has grown into a commitment to raising exceptional Black Angus cattle and producing premium beef for families across the region.

Today, Lane Angus Beef is built on the same values that have guided our family for generations: hard work, stewardship, integrity, and a passion for producing quality food.

EIGHT GENERATIONS OF FARMING

Lane Angus is dedicated exclusively to producing high-quality purebred Black Angus cattle with a strong emphasis on consistency, functionality, and genetic progress. Our herd standards are built around strict selection criteria that prioritize structural soundness, fertility, calving ease, maternal strength, and growth performance. Each breeding decision is made with long-term herd improvement in mind, ensuring that every generation moves the program forward in both quality and predictability. By maintaining a disciplined breeding focus and continually evaluating performance data, we are committed to producing Angus cattle that excel in both commercial and seedstock operations while maintaining the integrity of the breed.
